2025 WFAS Symposium

At the 2025 World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Associations International Acupuncture Symposium held in Stockholm, Sweden from September 18th to 22nd, Honorary Chairman David P.J. Hung, President Xiaoping  Zhou, Professor Bin Xu , Director Grace Chen, Dr. Yihua  Liu, and Chin represented the American Acupuncture Association and attended the opening ceremony, various seminars, celebration dinner, and closing ceremony of the conference.

The conference in Sweden was remarkable, attracting nearly 500 acupuncture experts and scholars from around the globe. It featured extensive academic exchange activities, and the cultural evening performances were distinctive and highly enjoyable.

The evening party featured a grand and heartfelt birthday celebration for Chairman David P. J. Hung's 94th birthday, during which Chairman Hung was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award and a certificate of appreciation.

At this seminar, President Zhou also gave a special speech entitled "The Pioneers of American Acupuncture - Dr. David P. J. Hung and the Outstanding Contributions of the American Acupuncture Association."

President Zhou Xiaoping also presented a banner on behalf of the American Acupuncture Association to the Swedish Acupuncture Academic Research Society, the organizer of the Symposium.

The 2025 World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Associations' International Acupuncture Symposium concluded successfully.
